The Citizen Supper Club

 

A bespoke food and whisky menu, created for one night only and hosted by Diageo’s Malt Whisky Ambassador, Kirsty Thomson.

In celebration of Scotland Served, A World Class Cocktail Festival, The Citizen is teaming up with The Singleton for one very special supper club.

Your host, Kirsty, will guide you through the stories, craft and character behind The Singleton, and show you a side of single malt that goes well beyond the traditional dram.

The evening begins with a welcome drink and canapés, before a bespoke four-course menu with matching Singleton serves, created exclusively for the night. Journey from coast to Highlands: scallops, a haggis stack done our way, a classic beef Wellington and a cranachan finish that’s as Scottish as it gets.

Come curious and leave knowing a little more about whisky than when you arrived. Seats are limited, so book now.

 

THE MENU

On arrival
Welcome drink & canapés

A choice of whipped goats cheese with black pudding crumb & pickled red onions on sourdough crostino. Or, shrimp and crayfish with Scottish salmon, citrus dressing, Bloody Mary Jam & cucumber on sourdough crostino.

Starter
Scottish King Scallops with celeriac purée, compressed apple, apple purée, pancetta & hazelnuts.

Intermediate
Haggis stack with neeps, tatties  & smoked whisky sauce.

Main
Classic Scottish beef Wellington, fondant potato, parsnip purée, honey roast vegetables & tarragon jus

Dessert
Scottish Cranachan with whipped cream, oats, whisky & raspberries.

From 14th October to 1st November, we’re taking part in Scotland Served to celebrate the country as one of the world’s great destinations for cocktail culture. Timed with the World Class Global Finals, the festival invites you to experience Scotch like never before, from inventive highballs to Singleton sours.

As well as limited edition serves throughout the festival, our supper club is one of a handful of experiences that’s been handpicked as part of the celebratory events.

Terms and Conditions

  • Advance booking: All tickets must be booked and paid for in full at the time of booking.

  • Cancellations: Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Seating: In the spirit of a supper club, guests are seated at shared tables. It’s all part of the experience, and a great way to meet fellow food and whisky lovers.

  • Allergies & dietary requirements: Please let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements when you book so our kitchen can plan for you. We may not be able to accommodate requests made on the night.

  • Age restriction: This is an over-18s event. We operate Challenge 25, so please bring valid photo ID.
