Frequently Asked Questions

  • We always recommend booking a table, but will take walk-ins where possible. This is more difficult on Fridays and Saturdays.

If there is no availability online, then it is very unlikely that we will have space if the online diary is not showing availability.

We only take walk-ins for drinks.

  • We do not currently operate a waiting list, and we don’t usually take bookings within the hour. You are welcome to pop in to see if we can take a walk-in. We will always try our best to accommodate you.

  • If you’re running late, we keep tables for 15 mins, so no need to let us know unless you are over 15 mins late. If so, you can phone the restaurant to let them know.

  • Our booking portal doesn’t take bookings for more than 10 people. To discuss large party bookings, head to our ‘occasions’ page and use the event enquiry form. Alternatively, pop an email to our group sales & events executive ashleyw@thedrg.co.uk or call 0141 248 1434.

We have private dining options which you can view on our ‘occasions’ page.

  • Most dietary requirements can be accommodated, GF, dairy free, vegetarian, and vegan can be discussed in the venue. Any multiple/severe allergies or intolerances can be addressed with a member of the team in advance.

  • To book a table using your voucher, please follow the instructions provided on your voucher.

If your voucher has expired and is a third-party voucher like 5pm or Itison, you won’t be able to use it. We may be able to extend a monetary voucher depending on the circumstances.

  • Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits required on Fridays and Saturdays for bookings 5pm onwards.

  • We do not allow dogs in our restaurant. Dogs are welcome on our outdoor terrace.

  • Smart/casual. No football colours.

  • We are open everyday, including bank holidays, except from Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

  • We allow children in our restaurants and offer a children’s menu. We do not allow children in our bar area.

  • We don’t have anything specific for birthdays, but you are welcome to bring a balloon/cake. Please do not bring table confetti or sparklers – they set off the fire alarms.
