Planning & Timings

  • Access to The Editor’s Suite will be available from the time confirmed with our Sales Team and outlined in your confirmation email. If you require earlier access for décor or supplier setup, please contact the Sales Team in advance to check availability.

  • Last orders at the bar are at 22:15 Sunday- Thursday and 23:00 on Friday and Saturday with guests to depart within 30 minutes. We’ll discuss your exact timings during your final planning meeting.

  • Of course! We’re happy to arrange a final walk-through — just get in touch to book a suitable time.

Food & Drink

  • We’ll need final menu choices and confirmed guest numbers no later than 14 working days before the event. This ensures everything is perfect on the day. 

  • Absolutely! We have a range of sparkling wines and cocktails from our drinks menu. Let us know what suits your style and we’ll help tailor the experience.

  • Yes — we offer vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free options as well as tailored meals for guests with allergies. Just let us know any specific needs with your final guest list. Please let us know at least 14 working days in advance. Our kitchen handles numerous ingredients and allergens and whilst we have controls in place to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, it is not possible for us to guarantee that our dishes will be allergen free.

  • Yes — you’re welcome to bring your cake and we can happily provide a cake stand with a knife.

The Experience

  • Absolutely! The Editor’s Suite is your space. Feel free to bring florals, signage, centrepieces, or any personal touches. Just note that we don’t allow anything fixed to walls or ceilings. (No confetti or sparklers allowed). If you have any questions, please contact the Sales Team to discuss.

  • Yes — you’re welcome to bring a DJ or acoustic set-up. We also have a sound system you can plug a playlist into. Let us know your preferences and we’ll help coordinate. 

  • Yes! We can provide a microphone and speaker for speeches. Just let us know what you need on the day. 

  • Absolutely — our experienced team will be on hand to coordinate timings, help your suppliers, and make sure everything runs smoothly so you can relax and enjoy. 

Logistics

  • While we don’t have on-site parking, there are several secure car parks within walking distance of The Citizen. We can provide a list upon request.

  • Yes — we can provide mobility assistive access to the Editor’s Suite. Please let us know if any of your guests require additional assistance at least 48 hours before the event.

  • Due to our limited storage space, we can only accept items such as cakes and balloons on the day of the event.  

Final Details

  • Please send all final documents via email at least 14 working days before your wedding. We can provide a personalised menu and place names when requested. 

  • We ask that all personal items are collected the same night or first thing the next morning. Let us know if you need help arranging this.
